InPlanta: the New Plant Bio-Delivery Solutions Platform
We have created a platform of multiple technologies for bio-delivery carrier systems to custom design solutions for high-precision, smart bio-delivery of crop health compounds. The traditional 4Rs: right source, right place, right time, right rate are now taken to greater heights. We can now achieve much greater utilization efficiencies compared to legacy solutions. This is truly the case of getting more by using less. Our current solutions include:

While we currently focus on pre-harvest production solutions, we have experience and capabilities to address many plant and food challenges, from farm to fork, as well as other plant health market segments. We are truly a platform and look forward to exploring all these opportunities in the future.
Next-Generation Crop Inputs
Nutrition: Micros/Trace
Maximizing crop potential is more than just applying more macronutrients. Without the right mix of available micronutrients, plants can't utilize the macros. Giving a plant highly available forms of micros means better emergence and vigor throughout the entire growing season. These include submicron sized embodiments of mineral oxides, treated for greater plant uptake.
Nutrition: Macros
Conventional macros have low efficiency and are often lost to the environment. New forms of NPK can now be delivered to plants for use throughout the growing season without losses the environment. These include submicron sized embodiments of urea, HAP, etc., treated for greater plant uptake.
Biostimulants/Fortifiers
In addition to the recognized nutrients, more compounds are being discovered and developed as potential compounds that can have a positive agronomic impact. These include humics, seaweed extracts, peptides, etc. While they show great promise for mainstream use, for practical efficacy and reliability hey need be delivered in submicron size and with addition treatment for greater plant uptake.
Protection: Bio-Based
Bio-based plant protection solutions such as engineered microbes, plant extracts and mineral-based agents have been developed for possible uses in agriculture. While these products show promise, they still need help in establishing reliable performance in different application situations. Our bio-delivery technology protects the integrity of these delicate payloads and make them much more effective and reliable.
Protection: Generics
While most of the conventional plant protection products are now off-patent, our bio-delivery technology can extend the life cycle of patented molecules or make generics even more effective. Delivering these as small molecules in either a surface entrapment or systemically in submicron size with uptake enhancement, our technologies can make these products more efficient and effective.
Synergists
Beyond more effectively delivering payloads in plant biological systems, we have discovered other uses and applications for our technologies that can bring benefits for plant health that are not directly a result of the payload being delivered. Examples of this include the inducement of systemic resistance (SAR) or the moderation of reactive oxidation species (ROS) development.
